- Smoked salt (to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- A few slices of red onion (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of seeds of your choice (such as sunflower seeds or sesame seeds) for garnish
Navodila:
- Prepare the tofu marinade in a bowl. Mix smoked balsamic vinegar, olive oil, smoked salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add the tofu cubes and toss gently to distribute the marinade evenly over the tofu. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the green salad by mixing mixed lettuce, cucumber slices, red pepper strips and avocado slices in a large bowl. If desired, add a few slices of red onion.
- Heat a little olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and cook for about 5-7 minutes until nicely browned and crispy.
- When the tofu is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the smoked balsamic vinegar left over from the marinade over the salad and toss to distribute the dressing evenly over the salad.
- Add the toasted tofu on top of the salad and sprinkle with the seeds of your choice for an extra crunch.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this delicious smoky vegan salad.
